When You Get Here
We know that visiting a church for the first time can often feel uncomfortable. We hope that is not your experience here. When you visit Second as our honored guest, feel free to park in one of the guest parking spots conveniently located near the Worship Center at both the 11th and 12th Street entrances.

The Worship Service
We offer a modern worship service without losing the rich history of our past. On any given Sunday, you can experience a mixture of current worship songs and cherished hymns arranged in a modern way. Each message is anchored in the Bible and delivered with modern day relevance. In regard to attire, come as you are. We’re more interested in meeting your real life needs by encountering God than what you wear.

Kids Ministry
If you have kids, be sure to navigate to our children’s page! Kids 5th grade and younger will need to check-in. You can do that at the Children's Building Entrance where you'll be warmly greeted at our Canoe Desk.

If you have a student (Grades 6-12), involve him/her in our Student Ministry! Check out the many ways we're drawing students closer to Jesus and giving them a place to belong in an uplifting, spirit-filled environment.

One of the best ways you can grow in Christian community is by joining a small group! So, we encourage you to visit some of our Adult Cluster Groups to see where you best fit. To see options, click on the tab.

Finding Your Way Around
Our Welcome Desk is located in the Worship Center (the orange building on the map). If you have any questions during your visit, you will find one of our volunteers there wearing a Second Baptist lanyard to help you with anything you need!
