Lead/Defend Conference

We are headed to Little Rock for a one-day apologetics conference featuring Sean McDowell, Bobby Conway, and a host of other speakers and apologists!

Dr. Sean McDowell is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping young people to make the case for the Christian faith. He is entertaining, engaging, and loves to address current issues through a biblical lens. Sean is an Associate Professor of Apologetics at Biola University. He hosts a fantastic podcast and speaks around the world at camps, conferences, and colleges. He also has written several excellent books on important cultural issues, including: Chasing Love, A Rebel’s Manifesto, and A New Kind of Apologist.

Bobby Conway is a speaker, author, and the host and founder of “One Minute Apologist”, answering a host of different apologetic and biblical questions in a clear and concise way through videos, articles, and speaking engagements. His testimony is an incredible story of doubt, struggle, and finding hope in Christ that is encouraging and remarkable. He also has written several books, including: Doubting Toward Faith, Does God Exist? And 51 Questions about God and the Bible, and The Fifth Gospel: You.

We will carpool from SBC at 8:15 a.m. and return to SBC around 6:00 p.m. The cost is $20 a person, and lunch will be included. This event is open to all students 6th-12th grade!  We will carpool together, but then we will divide up Middle/High School students for the main sessions and breakout groups. You do NOT want to miss this awesome experience!
