Second Baptist Student Ministry exists to help students and their families become empowered by God’s Spirit to encounter Him in worship, effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ, equip believers and engage in servant-hearted ministry. We do that through corporate worship experiences, Bible study and service opportunities. Our student ministry is active in reaching to all students and families of different races and backgrounds.

Our students are given the opportunity to serve in these Community Groups where childcare is needed. They assist with leading children in Bible studies and activities. If you are interested in serving during these times or more info on SBC grades 6-12 Community Groups, contact Matt Parker.

Location: SBC Students Building
Dinner provided for students and Leaders–DONATIONS ENCOURAGED.
Overflow is our corporate worship service on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. in the Student Building (formerly the Fellowship Hall). The idea of Overflow is that our worship to God is a direct overflow of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. Students arrive early, some after school, to play video games, hang out and sometimes even do homework. A typical Overflow will include games, worship, teaching, small groups and snacks. Everyone is welcome.
