Student Ministry

GET CONNECTED WITH THE STUDENT MINISTRY

Second Baptist Student Ministry exists to help students and their families become empowered by God’s Spirit to encounter Him in worship, effectively share the gospel of Jesus Christ, equip believers and engage in servant-hearted ministry. We do that through corporate worship experiences, Bible study and service opportunities. Our student ministry is active in reaching to all students and families of different races and backgrounds.

WEDNESDAYS, 6:00-7:00 p.m.

OVERFLOW

Location: SBC Student Building

Overflow is our corporate worship service on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. in the Student Building. The idea of Overflow is that our worship to God is a direct overflow of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. Students arrive early, some after school, to play video games, hang out and sometimes even do homework. The evening program includes worship and small group discussions. Everyone is welcome.
